Let's get started!
Tools and materials:
- Hoops
- Earring hook
- Thin wire
- Beads
- Pliers
Wrap the wire
Start by wrapping the wire anywhere on the hoop. Use your pliers to maneuver the wire and to press it down, so it stays in place.
Add a bead
I used some lovely royal purple beads, but of course, you can use anything you like. Once you have the thin wire wrapped around the hook, go ahead and insert a bead through the wire, all the way up to the top of the wire.
Wrap again
Once the bead is inserted, take the wire and wrap it around the hoop again, this time on another spot. Like this, the wire runs across the hoop like a spider's web.
Add another bead
This step basically is a repeat of the second step. After you wrap the wire the second time, insert another bead and push it up so it's in the ring of the hoop. Repeat the process above- loop, bead, loop bead.
Finish the earring
When you're satisfied with how everything looks, take your wire and wrap it around the hoop.
Then, make a mini loop with the wire, as shown.
Wrap more wire around the mini loop.
Cut off the excess wire.
Open the earring hook and insert it through the mini loop you just made. Close it up with your pliers, ensuring it's nice and tight.
Repeat the process for the second earring.
That's it! So easy! Now you know how to make DIY hoop earrings! What color bead will you choose for this enjoyable, beaded DIY hoop earrings project? I also have to add; it's so inexpensive to make, you could probably make a bunch and make your own collection.
