Tools and materials:

Leaves and flowers
To get a wonderful leaf texture, gently press the font of the leaf onto the clay.
Use a roller to further indent the leaf’s texture into the clay.
Go ahead and gently remove the leaf from the clay.
Use a cookie cutter to cut the piece of clay with its leaf texture.
Textile structures
To get a beautiful, lace texture, take a piece of lace trim and gently press it onto the clay.
Use a roller and roll over the lace trim on the clay.
Once the lace texture has been fully indented in the clay, gently pull off the lace trim.
Then use a cookie cutter to cut out clay pieces with the lace texture.
Baskets
Use a basket you already have at home. Place it over the clay and gently press down with your fingers.
Remove the basket and cut out the clay pieces with a cookie cutter.
Strainer
Gently press a strainer on the clay to get its texture.
Remove the strainer and cut out the clay.
Comb
Gently press the bristles of a comb onto the clay.
Use a cookie cutter to cut out the clay with its new comb texture.

I have some charms--rose, rabbit, frog, etc that would be great for impressions. Varied thicknesses of twisted cord, chain, rivets, grommets, scalloped edges of dishes (in rows like a rainbow!), your cat's paw; there are so many things you can use!
I like the leaf and comb impressions.could you put an article on how to add the ear hook to the back of the clay.A DIY on how to make an earring with clay.
