Styling a Floral Kimono

Kimonos are the perfect compliment to just about any summer outfit. I thrifted this vibrant floral one and will show you different ways I wear it throughout the summer.

Kimonos are a great way to upstyle an outfit, those with multiple colors give you a lot of choices in what to put with it. They come in all types of lengths, fabrics, and colors. I prefer sheer and long for my summer outfits.

Jumpsuits and kimonos are a wonderful fashion duo. Pulling the hot pink from the flowers makes this outfit look like a set. This ruffled jumpsuit was also thrifted for just $12. A great look for a wedding when you don't want to wear a dress.

If you don't like to show a lot of skin, a thrifted $4 turtleneck top and $10 wide leg drawstring pants in the same color elongate the body and allow the kimono to be the attraction.

I personally love a crisscross halter top, I think they are flattering and just scream summertime. Adding it in a vibrant orange, ( $7 Shein) along with matching wedges (Charlotte Russe) pulls that color forward from the kimono and adds even more bright color.

Keeping the same top but adding white eyelet shorts (Walmart) and sandals creates a fun and breezy summer outfit.

The summer purse was on Walmart clearance last summer. The end of each season is always the best time to stock up on clearance items. It's always fun to have something new for next summer.

Adding a hot pink tank and white jeans creates a dressy casual look perfect for a date night. Tank tops with shorts or capri look pants are a perfect pairing for just about any kimono.

Thrift stores are full of interesting kimonos, usually under $10. Amazon has long sheer ones for around $25 here. A way to create a lot of fun in sun outfits without breaking the bank!

Blessings,

Eden
