Get Creative! Painted Jacket, Shorts, and Jeans

Back in my high school days, I was a very good painter. If you gave me color, I would find something to put it on. So, in the spirit of that old version of me, and because my denim has been looking a little bleak, this tutorial will teach you how to make a painted jacket.
Tools and materials:
- Fabric paint
- Denim jacket
- Denim shorts
- Denim jeans
- Paintbrushes
- Masking tape
- Ruler
Paint your jacket
Starting with the jacket, flip it backward (so the backside is facing up) and begin sketching out your rainbow. Once that’s done, apply masking tape to your edges to ensure a clean finish. Set up your paints and start coloring in your corner rainbow.
Paint the pockets
Tape masking tape around all the upper edges of your shorts (pocket openings, waistband, etc..). Then, choose your favorite colors and apply them to your belt loops and pockets.
Monogrammed jeans
For the jeans, cover the legs in masking tape to make a mosaic design. Mix up the colors and the shape for the best results.
Let the paints dry for 24 hours before wearing your pieces. Once the paint is dry, take off your masking tape and enjoy your basic painted jacket, jeans and shorts!
Enjoyed the project?

Super Cute ideas! The jeans are my favorite. I have never used fabric paint before...can these items be washed/dryed as usual? Thanks for sharing.
Love the color blocking and that peak-a-boo rainbow is EVERYTHING!
