Would you like to glam-up some old denim shorts in a couple of minutes?


Follow this simple DIY and turn something old into something new and fun!

Tools and materials:

  • Old denim shorts (or skirt)
  • Iron-on decorative transfers for fabric
  • Clean cloth
  • Clothes iron
Prepping shorts

1. Prep your shorts

Simply lay your shorts flat and smooth on your work surface.

Choose your iron-on transfers. I used rhinestone stars!

2. Embellish your shorts (or skirt)

Peel the backing paper off your transfers.

Place your transfers face-down on your shorts.

Make sure they are smooth and flat.

Place a clean cloth over your transfers.

Ironing

Iron on top of the cloth, according to the iron-on transfer package directions, to transfer the design to your shorts.

Remove the transfer sheet from your shorts.

Repeat the iron-on transfer process wherever else you want to embellish your shorts, and look at the great result!
