Try out this simple hairstyle that gives your ponytail a unique touch.
Tools and materials:
- Hair brush
- 3 clear hair elastics
- 1 bobby pin (optional)
1. Make 2 low ponytails
Brush out any knots. Then make 2 low ponytails and secure them with clear, hair elastics.
2. Turn them into topsy tails
Make an opening above one elastic and pull the tail through to create a topsy tail. Repeat on the other side.
Pinch and pull gently at the rolled sections of the topsy tails to add volume.
3. Make a single ponytail
With another elastic, join the ends together, a few inches below the topsy tails, to create a single ponytail.
4. Cover the elastic
For an elegant finish, separate a small section of hair from the tail and wrap it around the base of the ponytail to cover the elastic.
Once you’re left with a small tail, tuck it into the elastic, or use a bobby pin to ensure that it stays in place.
Pull out some face-framing hair in the front if you like. Here’s the finished look:
