Simple One Tie Bun

Buns don’t have to be boring. In this tutorial, I’m going to show you a simple way to elevate your buns using only one hair tie. Let’s get started.
Tools and materials:
- Hair tie
1. Section
If you have bangs or face-framing pieces, separate them away from the rest of the hair so they stick out of the bun.
2. Pull the hair into a ponytail
Pull the rest of the hair back into a ponytail. Wrap the ponytail only once with the hair tie.
3. Create a half-bun
Pull the hair through the remaining part of the hair tie to create a half-bun, but don’t let the hair tie go just yet.
Keep holding on to one side of it.
4. Wrap the tail around the bun
Wrap the tail of the hair that’s not in the bun around it a few times, until the ends of the tail are at the top of the bun.
5. Pull the ends through the hair tie
Take the part of the hair tie that you’re holding on to, and pull the ends through it.
6. Adjust and thicken
Adjust the bun until it looks cleaner, and pull at the edges to thicken it out.
