Here’s my before.

And here’s my after. Let’s get started!

Applying foundation

1. Apply a light application for the base

Get a light application by using a blending brush to apply a color-correcting shade alongside your main skin tone shade.

Apply these colors all over lightly and blend as you go. This is the key to not putting on too much makeup.

Contouring

2. Apply a contour shade

Use the other side of the blending brush to apply a light application of your contour shade.

Apply this around the outer edges of the face, under the cheekbone and jaw, and on the sides of your nose.

Blend as you go to make sure everything looks and feels like your own skin tone.

Applying cheek and lip color

3. Apply the cheek and lip color

Use your finger to tap in your preferred blush shade, and use that same shade to color your lips.

Blending

Blend it in.

Adding warm shades

4. Apply warm shades to bronze

Adding a little bit of bronzer is great for a soft, natural makeup look as it adds a little extra warmth.

Brightening eyes

5. Color-correct and brighten your eyes

Throughout the application, don’t put any of the cream makeup underneath your eyes since you’ll do it separately in this step.

Use a light, or light-to-medium, color to brighten and diffuse any under-eye discoloration and brighten up the eyes without getting texture or heaviness.

Applying neutral color

6. Apply neutral colors to your lids

Use matte shades and an eyeshadow brush to apply a very neutral, soft eye shadow.

Applying mascara

7. Apply mascara

Apply mascara to your lashes.
