Soft Natural Makeup Look for Acne
Hello everyone, today we're doing this soft natural makeup look tutorial that’s meant to look like you're not wearing makeup at all.
We’re going to cover up all our blemishes to create a flawless finish.
If you want to know how to cover acne with makeup without looking cakey, this is for you. Follow along as I talk you through it step by step.
Tools and materials:
- Moisturizer
- Primer
- Blemish balm
- Beauty blender
- Eyebrow powder
- Makeup brushes
- Concealers
- Setting powder
- Eyebrow gel
- Bronzer
- Blush
- Mascara
- Tissue
- Lip gloss
- Eyelash curler
- Spoolie
1. Primer
Start with clean, moisturized skin, and then grab a primer that works for your skin (I have an oily skin type, so I am using a primer specifically designed for that).
Apply it all over your face with your fingers.
2. Blemish balm
Now take a blemish balm (BB cream) and apply it with a damp beauty blender all over your face to help blur your pores and even out your skin tone.
Be sure to blend it into your hairline and down your neck a little bit.
3. Brows
With an angled brush, brush all of your brow hairs up.
Then take some eyebrow powder that matches the color of your hair and fill in your whole brow with the powder.
Then repeat on the other brow.

4. Concealer
Take a concealer that matches your skin color and apply it with a flat brush to conceal any darkness or blue tones under your eyes.
Then use the concealer to cover any acne or scars that you can see through the blemish balm.
5. Lighter concealer
Next, grab a concealer that’s slightly lighter than your skin color and use it to highlight a few places on your face.
First, brighten your under-eye, the inner corner of your eye, and just under your eyebrows on the brow bone.
Then add some concealer beside your nostrils if you have any darkness there, a little bit down the center of your nose and on your forehead between your eyebrows.
6. Setting powder
Now take a setting powder and apply it all over your face with the same beauty blender you used earlier.
7. Eyebrow gel
Use an eyebrow gel to brush your eyebrow hairs up and into place.
8. Bronzer
Next, use a bronzer to do some contouring.
Suck in your cheeks and apply the bronzer just under your cheekbones where the natural shadow is. Then add a little under your jawline and on the sides of your forehead.
Take a small flat brush and add some bronzer in two lines down the sides of your nose, fairly close together, and also under the tip of your nose.
9. Blush
Apply a light blush on the apples of your cheeks, blending it back into the contour and then a little bit on your chin and under the tip of your nose.
10. Mascara
Apply a coat of mascara to your top lashes and a tiny bit to your bottom lashes.
11. Lip gloss
Grab a tissue and wipe away any foundation or concealer on your lips.
Then grab a lip-plumping gloss and apply a little bit to your lips.
12. Eyelash curler
Once the mascara is dry, take a spoolie and flake off any mascara that you’ve got on my skin.
To finish, curl your lashes with an eyelash curler.
Soft natural makeup look
That's the whole look - my skin looks smooth and flawless, and I’m in love with the finish.
