In this tutorial, I’m doing my everyday makeup routine. If you’re interested in seeing how I achieve a soft natural makeup look, keep reading. Let’s jump right into it!

Tools and materials:

  • Eyeshadow
  • Foundation
  • Concealer
  • Contour
  • Loose baking powder
  • Highlighter
  • Blush
  • Lip liner
  • Lip gloss
  • Makeup brushes
  • Setting spray
Filling in brows

1. Fill in your eyebrows with eyeshadow

The first thing I start by doing is my eyebrows with an eyeshadow palette. Pick the darkest shade and fill in your eyebrows with an angled brush.

Applying foundation

2. Apply foundation

Next, apply foundation. I’m using a true match foundation and I apply it from the bottle.

I dampen my beauty blender just because I feel like it makes everything blend nicely when it’s damp.

Applying concealer

3. Apply concealer

Apply concealer. I apply concealer under my eyes, around my mouth, and on my cheek.

I feel like it suits my face, but different people apply concealer differently based on their face shape.

Blending concealer

4. Blend out the concealer

I blend out my mouth area first with a beauty blender and then my sides second.

Blending concealer

Finally, I blend out the area next to my eyes.

I apply concealer here because I feel like it lifts your face a little, and it gives you that fox-eye look.

Contouring

5. Apply contour

Before you blend in the concealer under your eyes, let’s go in with contour.

I apply from the corner of my face to down below my cheekbone and beside my mouth.

Contouring

I also contour my forehead, because anything I could do to make this forehead look smaller would be absolutely brilliant.

Blending

6. Blend the concealer under your eyes

I like to let this concealer sit for as long as I can. It creates a fuller coverage when it’s on your face for longer, but let’s blend it out now.

I keep it in the under-eye region, but I also spread it to the sides of my nose.

Setting face makeup

7. Set your face

Set your face quickly before it starts creasing. I use a loose baking powder to do this all over my face, wherever I apply the makeup.

Applying highlighter

8. Apply highlighter

I apply highlighter to the tip and bridge of my nose.

Applying blush

9. Apply blush

It’s time for blush! This is my favorite part of the whole routine. Apply to your cheekbones.

Applying lip gloss

10. Finish off with your lips

To finish the makeup, I lined my lips and applied lip gloss.

Applying setting spray

11. Apply setting spray

Spray your face with setting spray.
