Hello everyone! Today we’re going to do a super easy eyebrow tutorial for beginners. Grab your spoolie and let me show you how to fill in your eyebrows.

I like to do my brows first in my makeup routine but, if you prefer to do

your foundation first, by all means, do that.

Tools and materials:

  • Spoolie
  • Angled brush
  • Eyebrow powder or pencil
  • Eyebrow gel or wax
  • Concealer (optional)
Brushing brows

1. Brush brows up

The first thing I do is, with my eyebrow spoolie, brush all the hairs up.

Marking brow shape

2. Mark brow shape

First, I mark out where my brows should go.

I take some powder on my brush and line up the inner corner of my eye with my brows, then mark.

Then, I line up my brush with the corner of my nostril and the outer corner of my eye and mark the end of the tail.

How to fill in your eyebrows

3. Now to fill in your brows

You can use powder or an eyebrow pencil that matches your brow hairs or your hair color.

I’m tracing the underside of my eyebrows and then the top. Next, I lightly fill in my brows.

Darkening the brow tail

4. Darken the tail of the brow (optional)

This is optional but I like to darken the tails of the eyebrows, so they look a little bit ombre.

Filling in brows

5. Check for any missed spots

Now brush all your hairs back up again to see if any spots were missed. If there are missed spots, fill them in.

Adding concealer

6. Add concealer (optional)

This step is also totally optional, but I like to further define my brows by taking my concealer and a flat brush and tracing underneath the brows. This is also a good way to make sure that the brows are even.

Just draw a little unibrow connecting the bottom of both eyebrows, then trace the rest of the underside of the brows and blend.

Adding eyebrow gel

7. Add eyebrow gel

Then you're going to take an eyebrow gel or a wax and just use this to brush all your brow hairs up again to add a little volume.

One more hint, the arch should be positioned above the pupil of the eye when looking straight out. Your other two points are correct for the classic formula for drawing on brows.
