Outfit Inspo: Vintage-Style Winter Outerwear
Sometimes in winter, I feel like there are missed outfit opportunities! Often people just throw on a warm jacket but there is so much more fashion potential. Lately, I have put aside my modern pieces because I have been totally inspired by vintage style. In this tutorial, I will show you a few ways I like to style my winter coats and accessories to get perfect winter vintage-style looks.
Look number 1
In this first look, the coat I am wearing is actually handmade. I Then decided to add this scarf that complements the brown tone of the coat. The gloves I am wearing are originally from H&M and they match the scarf really nicely. To complete the look I added this stunning vintage hat that I got from my grandmother’s closet. This is a really gorgeous and well put together winter outerwear look.
Look number 2
The skirt I am wearing in this look is vintage and I decided to put my black coat originally from H&M over the outfit.
I love a good scarf in winter! This scarf is one of those pieces that I’ve had in my closet for ages but I have no idea where it came from. This old H&M beanie and gloves are the perfect contrast to the black coat and work so well with the scarf that pulls the two colors together.
Look number 3
In look number 3 I am wearing this gorgeous coat from Zara over my skirt and turtle neck.
The scarf that I added to this look is vintage. I love playing with pieces to make them more versatile which is exactly what I did here by styling the scarf on my head. These beautifully detailed gloves add an extra element of class to the whole outfit.
Look number 4
In this look, I once again wear my black coat, and this time I tuck a vintage scarf into it to keep me warm, snug, and stylish. I decided to wear the same gloves as I did in look number 3. The piece that pulls this whole look together, in my opinion, is this stunning, feminine, beige hat.
Look number 5
In this outfit, I am, once again, wearing my handmade, brown coat. I know a lot of people prefer not to wear brown and black together but I actually think the two colors make for a very classic look.
