Want to know how to dress modestly in the summer? I've got you covered.

In this lookbook, I'm going to be showing you some modest Church outfit ideas. It is definitely possible to dress modestly even in super hot weather and still stay stylish at the same time.

Wide-leg pants

1. Wide-leg pants

Here, I’m styling a printed blouse with a pair of wide-leg pants.

The material of this blouse is super lightweight and breathable. I rolled up the sleeves to give the top a bit more style. I think the color play of the pink and orange print on the top works perfectly with the emerald green pants.

For shoes, I opted for a pair of clear see-through sandals. It’s always a good idea to go for heels when you’re wearing long pants, and these ones are the perfect complement to this look.

I didn't over-accessorize, I kept the look super simple with a pair of small gold hoop earrings, as I wanted the printed piece to really stand out and be the hero of the look.

A pale pink tote bag completes the look.

Jumpsuit

2. Jumpsuit

For the next look, we have a polka dot print jumpsuit. A jumpsuit is a great piece you can opt for in the summer, and this one here is in a modest style.

I adore the ruffle, bell-style sleeves. Like a dress, a jumpsuit is super easy as it means that 90% of your outfit is done since it's a one-piece.

Because the jumpsuit is very loose-fitting, I added a belt to create a waistline.

For shoes, I opted for a pair of white open-toe mules with a block heel which means that they are very comfy to wear. Just like the last look, I opted for the same pair of gold hoop earrings.

Finishing off the look is a black bag with a gold chain that ties in with the gold belt buckle.

Floral dress

3. Floral dress

The next outfit idea is for my ladies who love a good dress for the summer. Floral always gives off summer vibes.

This dress comes down to my calves and has sleeves that have a nice poof to them.

The neckline of this dress has a square cut which is more of a modest style than a sweetheart type of cut which has more of a plunging neckline.

For shoes, I opted for a pair of wicker wedges. I personally can’t say the word ‘summer’ without thinking of wicker wedges, it is a great material for the summer, and wedges are another really comfortable type of shoe.

To accessorize, I added a braided leather headband in a nude color. I think headbands are a really underrated accessory. A brown tote bag completes the look.

Denim

4. Denim

For the last look, I’m styling a pair of wide-leg jeans with a white top.

The top is in a very light, breathable material for the summer, and it is one of my favorite tops because it is super simple yet chic, and you can pair it with so many different types of bottoms.

The top has buttons going down the front, and you can also tie it on the bottom just to give it some added style.

The sleeves are my favorite part because they’re in a flowy bell style. I'm just a big fan of any type of statement sleeves, and I feel like a top like this is one of those simple but not so simple tops.

When my outfit is pretty simple, I love to add some accessories to make the look pop. Here I went for low-heeled sandals that have pearl details going across the front.

I went with more pearls with these dangling chandelier-style earrings. I feel like these earrings add a statement without doing too much. A small padded black clutch finishes off the look.
