It only takes the smallest touch to add flair to your hair. Wearing a simple hairstyle doesn’t have to look boring.

I’m going to show you a super simple way of taking your hair from flat to fabulous.

Tools and materials:

  • Hairbrush
  • Hair straightener
  • Headband
Styling hair

1. Face framing

Put on a headband, leaving about half an inch of the front section of your hair out.

Use a hair straightener and take the hair from one side of your face.

Hold the hair in a way that creates a curve that bends towards the face and then back towards the ear.

Use the hair straightener to heat and hold that curve.

2. Shaping the ends

Now let’s work on the ends of the hair. Instead of letting the ends hang straight and flat, we’re going to add some shape and bounce.

Run the straightener through a section of your hair and when you get towards the bottom twist your straightener to curl the hair inwards toward the face.

Continue to do this on all the hair. It will create a gorgeous natural-looking curve.

Can you believe what a drastic change just a few simple strokes of the hair straightener provides? A little shape makes all the difference.
