Try These Face Lifting Massages for a Healthy Glow

Here are six facial massage movements you can do to improve blood circulation to your face. This in turn lifts the face, reduces fine lines and gives a healthy glow.


Oil your face well before starting. Repeat each step ten times.

Tools and materials:

  • Facial oil or coconut oil
Massaging marionette lines

1. Marionette lines

Use your index and middle fingers on each hand.


Slide them from your jawbone below the outer edges of your mouth up the side of your nose to between your eyes.

Then draw your fingers down under your cheekbones and out to the sides of your face.

2. Cheekbones

Slide the inner edge of your open hands from the sides of your nose outwards.

Gently pinch the skin on your temples.

Massaging sinuses

3. Sinuses

Circle the pads of your index fingers up the sides of your nose from the nostrils to between your eyes.

4. Upper eyelid

Smooth the pads of your thumbs outwards across the orbital bone just below your eyebrows.

Continue to massage gently around the outer edge of the eye socket.

5. Jawline

Place the knuckles of your index and middle finger of one hand either side of your jawbone.


Slide them from your chin to just below your ear.

Overlap with your second hand and repeat the movement. Work on one side of the jaw at a time.

6. Eye socket

Circle the orbital bone in an outward direction, using the index and middle fingers of each hand.


Reverse the direction to stroke under the eye.

It’s best to do any kind of facial massage just before you sleep. It helps to relax the muscles as well as helping the skin to remove toxins.
