Reading this, I’m sure that you have a lot of questions. The good news is that the instructions are easy to follow, and the natural ingredients make this skincare product a safe DIY family activity.

What are the benefits of adding Almond oil to the Sugar Scrub Bars?

The exfoliating properties of using a sugar scrub may leave dry skin since they scrub the natural oils off. The almond oil penetrates the skin and add moisturizing properties to the scrub bar. Additionally, the right amount of almond oil softens these bars, enhancing the easiness of application.

What is the shelf life of Sugar Scrub Bars?

These can last about a year when preserved correctly. They are best kept in an air-tight bag at room temperature. Melt and pour soap tend to sweat in humid conditions; that’s why it’s recommendable to preserve them in an air-tight bag.

Which sugar should you use when making the scrubs?

Sugar is a crucial ingredient to achieve exfoliation properties. Any sugar with large grains is suitable for this recipe. However, I recommend the white granulated sugar since it has moderately sized grains.

What other diy bath and beauty should I try?

When making our diy bath and beauty products, we like to use Rocky Mountain Oils, because they have such a great selection of single oils as well as blends. We also love this mica powder for any of our projects that require color.
