Easy Winged Eyeliner Makeup Look for Hooded Eyes
If you have hooded eyes like mine, you probably look at every tutorial you can find out how you can make them look better.
Well, I’m no expert but I’ve come up with a way to add winged eyeliner that disguises them to some extent.
As well as eyeliner, you’ll need a matte shadow in a shade darker than your natural skin tone.

Tools and materials:
- Liquid eyeliner
- Fine eyeliner brush
- Matte eyeshadow
- Eyeshadow brush
- Half lashes
- Tweezers
1. Extend it
Draw a fine line from the end of your lash line down towards your cheekbone, until it lines up with the very outer edge of your eyebrow.
2. Wing it
Draw a diagonal line from the end of the first line up towards and past the end of your eyebrow.
With your eye open, draw the last part of the wing back over your eyelid to the lash line.
3. Fill it
Fill in the open triangle with eyeliner.
I like to add a tiny arrow shape on the inner corner of my eye as well.
4. Shadow it
Use an eyeshadow slightly darker than your natural skin tone.
Brush it on the heavy outer edge of your upper eyelid, following the line of the wing.
Blend it well.
5. Lash it
For extra emphasis, apply half lashes to the outer edge of your eye.
Eye makeup for hooded eyes
This is my favorite way to disguise my hooded eyes. It makes them look more almond shaped.
You can make the wing itself longer or shorter than mine, but make sure to extend that first line.
Try it and let me know what you think in the comments.
