How To Incorporate Color Into Your Winter Wardrobe

While the holidays are bright and cheery, the days leading up to and following after the festive weeks can feel very dark and cold...

But one thing we can do to combat this is wear some pops of color!

There is definitely a fashionable way to do this, and I'm here to reveal the simple secrets.

Here are three tips for incorporating color into your winter wardrobe:

Tip no. 1:

Color blocking! Bright sweaters are the key to brightening your wardrobe during winter. Ensure the sweater is a solid color. With bright shades, patterns can overwhelm the look.

Style your solid, brightly-colored sweater with pieces of complimentary solid colors. Here, I've paired this yellow sweater with a green skirt and hair piece.

Tip no. 2:

Accessorize! This fun, green, hooded sweater looks great with a knotted headband of the same tone.

Don't be afraid to experiment with fun headbands and hats... this is the season for that!

Tip no. 3:

Shading! Pair pieces of the same color but different textures and shades.

This is my favorite way to style color during the winter. It's such a colorful but chic look and brightens any dark day.

Have fun styling this season!
