4 Quick, Easy & Cute Work Hairstyles That Look Professional

Today, I’m going to show you some quick work hairstyles. These are perfect if you’re running late, don’t have much time to do your hair in the morning, or just can’t be bothered to put in the effort when you just woke up!
This article is going to have it all: cute hairstyles for work, simple hairstyles for work, and - of course - professional hairstyles for work. Let’s get started!
Tools and materials:
- Hair ties
- Clips
- Bobby pins
- Brush
Work hairstyle 1: knotted bun
1. Section
Divide your hair into two equal sections.
2. Cross the two sections
Cross one section of hair over the other section, leaving room for a little hole where the hair meets.
3. Create a knot
Pull one section of your hair through the hoop to create a regular, basic knot as if you were tying your shoes. Pull on both ends of your hair to tighten it.
4. Create a second knot
Repeat step 3 to create a second knot right on top of the first one.
5. Twist the ends around the bun
To get rid of the ends, twist them and wrap them around the underside of the bun. Secure the bun with a hair tie.
Adjust as desired and there ya go! Add a headband if you like, and you’re out the door. This is one of my favorite bun hairstyles for work, and I didn’t even need to use bobby pins.
Work hairstyle 2: little croissant
1. Section and create a loop
Start by taking a section right in the middle of your head and tie it off with a hair tie for now.
Then, do the same thing with your hair right underneath the one you just did. Except this time, instead of pulling your hair all the way through, create a small bun. You should now have two half up sections.
2. Pull the top section through the loop
Put your fingers through the small bun you made to create a small loop. Then, grab the end of the top section and pull it through the loop.
3. Tighten and secure
Tighten it by tugging on it gently and using a bobby pin to hold it in place, and you’re done.
This hairstyle looks like a little croissant. It’s fun, it’s cute, it’s different and I really like it!
Work hairstyle 3: claw clip
1. Put your hair into a ponytail then create a hole
Start by putting your hair into a ponytail. Then, pull the ponytail down and create a hole just above the hair tie.
Flip the ponytail up through the hole you just made.
2. Section and twist the ponytail
Divide your ponytail into two sections and begin twisting them all the way down until you reach the bottom of your hair.
3. Wrap the ponytail around your finger
Raise the twisted ponytail up above your hair and settle your pointer finger at the base of the hair tie. Then, wrap your ponytail around your pointer finger going up.
4. Shape and secure
Roll it or fold it in once or twice, however many times you need to, and then put a claw clip over it to secure it.
This look can be so cute and so classy with the right claw clips and it’s a must-have in your cute updo hairstyles for work repertoire.
Work hairstyle 4: twisted bun
1. Put your hair into a ponytail
Start by putting your hair into a high ponytail. Be sure to leave out some face-framing strands in the front.
2. Tease
Flip your ponytail in front of your face and use a brush to tease it. Don’t tease too much, because you don’t want to damage your hair.
3. Twist
Twist your ponytail away from your face.
4. Wrap the ponytail into a bun
Wrap the ponytail around itself and secure it with a hair tie. It’s that easy!
If you need to bobby pin, then do so, but I didn’t need to. This look is very formal but very cute, making it the perfect bun hairstyle for work.
