2 of My FAVORITE Makeup Hacks!
Hey guys! I am going to share 2 of my favorite makeup hacks with you. I love finding ways to get the most out of every product when it comes to makeup.
These tricks help me use my makeup more efficiently and get more bang for my buck.
Tools and materials:
- Mascara
- Eye drops or contact solution
- Lip liner
- Eyeliner
- Lighter
1. Extend the life of your mascara
Don't throw away mascara that seems to be finished. This tip will help you prolong the life of your mascara.
Grab some eye drops or contact solution and drip a few drops into the mascara bottle.
Shake it up, pull the brush in and out a few times and just like that, you have more mascara.
2. Heat up your liners
Sometimes applying eyeliner or lip liner feels more difficult than it needs to be.
You have to press really hard to get it to draw. That’s why I love this hack.
Use a lighter to quickly heat the tips of the pencil.
Don’t leave it in the flame too long because you don’t want it to melt completely. But heating it slightly will melt it just enough to give you a smooth and easy application.
This hack has made my life so much easier.

I'm 71 years and have been doing the lighter and eye liner heck since I was much younger. Great heck works great.
I guess lighting the eyeliner pencil would sterilize it.
I keep hearing it is not good to use mascara past 3-6 months. But I’m not prepared to throw out mascara I’ve only used a couple of times. I suspect they just want me to buy new mascara. Any ideas?
