How to DIY a No-Sew Facemask

Facemasks have become an important part of our everyday lives! I decided to DIY a very easy and simple facemask and the best part is there was absolutely no sewing involved. I used a solid, non-fray material and all I needed was paper, a pencil, and a pair of scissors. The mask turned out better than I could have imagined! If you want to learn the tips and tricks to make this easy, no-sew mask, my tutorial is definitely for you! Follow my step-by-step guide and get started on DIYing this essential piece.
Tools and materials:
- Paper
- Pencil
- Measuring tape
- Scissors
- Pins
- Fabric
To get started on this incredible no-sew mask, I marked 5.5 inches from the top of an A4 piece of paper.
I then cut across the line I had just marked.
I folded my paper in half and then drew a curved mask shape onto one side of the paper. I drew this freehand but you can always use something with curved edges to trace the shape.
I then drew an oval inside the small curved line which represents the earhole in this awesome no-sew mask.
I then grabbed my scissors and carefully cut out my pattern.
For this DIY, I used solid, non-fraying fabric. I folded the fabric and pinned my pattern with the straight edge along the fold.
With the pattern pinned in place, I started cutting the fabric out. I made sure to be extra careful when cutting the earhole.
This no-sew mask is so easy to make! What color fabric would you use for this DIY? Let me know in the comments below!
