In this DIY, I’m going to show you how to make an adorable double headband.


Head on over to your dollar store, pick up some headbands, then grab some scrap fabric, and let’s begin!

Tools and materials:

  • Headbands
  • Scrap fabric
  • Scissors
  • Glue gun
Cutting fabric

1. Cut fabric

First, cut your scrap fabric into strips.

Braiding fabric

2. Braid fabric

Take three strands of fabric and braid them together.

Adding glue

3. Add glue to braids

Apply glue to the end of the braids to secure them.

Joining headbands

4. Join headbands together

Glue the headbands together just at the bottom.

Attaching fabric

5. Attach fabric

Now apply glue to the top of the headbands and lay the fabric over the top.

Now you have an adorable headband. This DIY was so easy to do and cost next to nothing.
