Perfect Old Money Fall Hairstyle for Hats
Fall is a great time for hats, but not every hairstyle lends itself to hat-wearing.
Here’s an old money hairstyle that is simple to create and looks fantastic with a big wide-brimmed hat.
Tools and materials:
- Hair elastic
2. Braid your hair
Start with a center part, and separate hair into two equal sections.
Hold the hair from one side of your head (the right side, looking from the back), and a small section of hair from the outer edge of the left side (looking from the back).
Cross the small section over to the middle of your head.
Now, grab hold the section you just crossed over, keeping it in the middle, while letting go of the right side.
Take a small section of hair from the front of the right side, and cross it over to the middle, holding it together with the first section you crossed over.
Repeat taking small sections from alternate front sides of your head, and adding them to the hair in the middle.
Continue until you have added in all of your, and then secure this braid with a hair elastic at the nape of your neck.
2. Loosen the braid
Use your fingers to gently loosen the braid.
