How to Apply Beauty Balm for Mature Skin - Easy BB Cream Tutorial

Tools and materials:

• BB cream
• Concealer
• Makeup brushes

I'm using makeup from Look Fabulous Forever, which is specially designed for older skin, but you can replicate the same techniques with your own preferred products.

1. Choose the right tint

Beauty balms are actually tinted moisturizers. You usually get them in 3 main tones, just as you see in the image above.

Most white people fall into the number 1 category. If you have a slight tan, number 2 would be best for you. If you have a decided tan or a much darker skin tone, then number 3 is the perfect color for you! 

Remember, these colors will not look as dark once they are applied to your face. So, the density you see is not how it looks once applied. You only need a little product. 

2. Apply the BB cream

Squirt some BB cream onto the back of your hand, around the amount you think you will use. 

Then, take a foundation brush, swirl it into the product, and apply it to your face. Start from the center of your face and spread it outward. 

As you can see, it has done an excellent job of unifying my skin tone and hiding the blotchiness. 

Combine the product to your jaw and neck area using your fingers. 

3. Apply concealer for coverage

Because BB cream offers lightweight coverage, you may notice that It doesn’t cover bright red spots. If these annoy you and you want them hidden, then go ahead and cover each spot with a concealer. 

Then, push a little concealer into the corners of your eyes and under the eyes to eliminate darker tones.

If you don’t want to look heavily made up, this is a delightful, light creamy product that gives you the perfect coverage! I feel that my skin looks unified and with a bit of help from the concealer, my age spots and spots are well hidden.
