WOW, I'm just loving the fabulous sleeves around this season and just have to share this amazing make with you, also two ways to style it for both casual day and or just a bit more formal!!

This lovely top is the Cielo by Closet Core Patterns

I always find this stage, super exciting. The fabric is pre-washed and the possibilities are just endless!

Firstly I added those little front darts, they make the shape sit nicely over the bust, then stitched the front to back at the shoulder seams!

The neckline sits nice and neat by adding this facing piece, the facing is given some extra structure by the addition of a scrap of iron on interfacing.

After I stitched the facing on to the neckline I cut little V-sections out, this allows the facing to be flipped to the inside and pressed flat, it is so much smoother for this little step!!

Stitching two lines of long stitches around the top of the sleeve (between the pins) allows the fabric to form nice even gathers!

The gathering stitches are then pulled up and its time to pin and stitch the gathered sleeve to the armhole!!

There we go the sleeve is in, and its time to run a line of stitching from the bottom of the sleeve to the hem of the top!!

Nearly finished now!!!

Just the cuffs to add now!!

All done and styled for a Autumn, thick tights, cosy boots and off for a walk!!

Or what about this outfit? Navy Capri pants and shiny pumps, I'm ready to meet friends for a coffee!!

Hope you like my new make? Both these outfits are going to get so much wear this Fall / Autumn!!
