The Basic Dress Edit

1 Material

I always recommend starting with basics when it comes to building a closet/ wardrobe that is tailored to you. When I say basics I usually only include a good pair of denim, and plain tees. But in this edit I’m expanding into dresses. The trends this season have been a minimal dress code, Euro inspired, and less is better. To say I’ve been hunting for the perfect dress that matches all these aesthetics is an understatements!!!

Luckily, I hit the jackpot with this “ basic” dress!

Let’s give a moment to the dress itself. There is a built in shelf-bra, and the A line style is flattering on just about ANY body type! Here I styled it for a night out with minimal accessories and a classic block heel.

Farmer’s Market anyone? Jean jacket, hat, and a good pair of walking tennis shoes is all you need for this day look.

Winery anyone? If the weather is still a tad bit cool, try a sweater over or wrapped around! I styled this as another day look! Wrapped a sweater at the neck and added a pair of girl adidas!

How would you style this basic?!
