The Perfect Teacher Dress… From Walmart!
I am so impressed with all of the new dresses that Walmart is putting out this year! When I saw this little $17.98 dress online, I knew I had to have it! It does come in 3 other colors, and I am wearing a size XS for reference. The length is perfect on me at 5’5.
After being in a classroom for 15 years, I know a good teacher dress when I see one! I figured it would be fun to show you today how to style it a few different ways for the first few months of the school year! Let’s dive in!
Look # 1
Here is how I would wear this dress at the start of the school year! It’s usually still very hot outside when school starts, so I love wearing light and airy dress like this one! This would be a perfect first day of school dress, or a “Back to School” night dress! I just paired it these brown sandals from Amazon. This whole look is linked here.
Look # 2
Here is how I would style this dress in early fall. Once the temperatures start to drop a little bit, I love to pair a cardigan over a dress. I also belted it with this brown braided belt to change the look up a little bit! I then added my favorite pair of brown ,mules from Amazon to complete the look. This whole look is linked here.
Look # 3
Now let’s take this same Walmart dress into the cooler months! I love pulling a chunky sweater over a dress to give the look of a skirt! I like to pull the sweater on top of the dress, then place a belt around the sweater. I then pull out the sweater a bit so you can’t see the belt. (this works best with an oversized sweater!)
