Cute Spring Looks From Talbots Friends and Family 2023

Yesterday I had so much fun! I went to the Talbots store in Palm Desert and tried on many cute spring outfits! I brought my girlfriend Karen so she could snap some photos. It was really fun to wander around the store and try on different looks. Be sure to scroll all the way to the end as I showed some additional items that I also bought and/or loved!

Talbots Friends and Family 2023
This Talbots Friends and Family 2023 event was refreshing! As always, Talbots doesn’t disappoint with their wide display of colorful outfits. I tried a few new colors for me and was surprised at how much I liked them (a big winner was an icy blue which really worked with my silver hair!).
First Look (of Talbots Friends and Family 2023)
This first look went home with me! I loved the oh-so-soft and lightweight 100% cotton pink print shirt. The sweater is a pretty open weave and will be perfect for Spring days or air conditioning. The straight-leg crop jean (size 6) is so comfortable yet flattering. There is an invisible slimming panel to help the over-50-tummies!
This bag is SO DARN VERSATILE! It goes with every casual look. I love the mixture of brown leather trim and the tan fabric! It’s roomy but also has an inside clasp so everything stays put. These jeans are perfect, very easy to wear. I am wearing a size small in the sweater. The shirt is a size medium as they were out of size small. The medium fits fine because it’s so lightweight.
This soft blue chambray 100% linen dress is perfect for running around town (size small). It’s medium weight and very easy to wear. Again with the natural tote and nude sandals. You could skip the belt if belts aren’t your thing. Or change it out with a natural one like this one.
This cute full-length dress is so pretty (size small)! It has orange slices all over and the straps are wide enough to easily wear a bra. It has fun pockets (yay!) and is a terrific look for a barbecue or garden party.
This was a surprise color combo for me! The icy blue 100% cardigan is a playful girlfriend style and looks terrific all buttoned up by itself as it has a pretty v-neck which is so popular this season. Here I decided to drape it over my shoulders. It goes perfectly with the gingham check perfect crop pants (size 6). They have a darling ankle tab detail that I’ll show you on Instagram this week (follow me @drjuliemarshall).
I wore this very pretty white linen sleeveless top which has the sweetest little pleats in the front. But if you hate sleeveless tops, I also bought this really cute short-sleeve white 100% cotton popover shirt that has darling buttons done the back! Do you like the icy blue color with my silver hair? I really do and had never worn it before!
This is a great look! I paired a white linen jacket with light blue linen pants. The pants need to be shortened one hem-length (I’m 5’4″) but otherwise, they fit great in a size small. The jacket is so cute (size small)! It’s also 100% linen and has tortoise shell buttons and a neat drawstring at the waist. It would go with denim, white pants, and any color shorts!
