Four Ways to Style Vintage Yellow Trousers

One of my most favourite recent thrift finds was a pair of yellow, vintage trousers. After months of searching for the right pair, these were the ones I Ioved. I could not wait to style them when I brought them home and thought I would share with you four ways I like to style them.

This look is a fully sustainable outfit, everything is thrifted except for the purse, which is from the fair trade store, Ten Thousand Villages. To add some contrast between the cream, lace top and the yellow trousers, I added a patterned scarf as a belt.

This third look is one of my favourite ways to wear a pair of trousers, with a graphic tee. This tshirt was from a house show I attended years ago, the rest of the outfit is vintage and thrifted. I liked pairing the yellow flowers in the bag with the yellow trousers to help tie the look together. I also wore my black flats to match the text of the shirt.

This look is again, fully thrifted! I paired the trousers with some pointed toe, polka dot flats and a feminine, laced cropped top. To make the look a bit edgier I added a studded belt bag and some bold sunglasses. I love the look of yellow and black together.

A great way to style an effortless looking outfit is with a monochrome look. This look is fully vintage with pieces purchased from local thirft stores and vintage shops. This is my absolute favourite look out of all of them in this post. Which one was yours? How do you usually style trousers?
