Style Your Over-the-Knee Boots With These 6 Gorgeous Looks
If you ask me, over-the-knee boots and fall go together like peanut butter and jelly. You just can’t have a fall wardrobe without having a pair of over-the-knee boots. These types of shoes are my personal favorite because I feel like you can pair them with just about anything. In this tutorial, I’ll show you three different over-the-knee boots and two outfits for each pair.
The first outfit I chose was a plain white cotton dress. It’s a great fall outfit with the perforated design at the shoulders and the slightly poofy sleeves. To add a pop of color to this outfit, I threw on my heeled over-the-knee red boots, which I feel really gave this outfit some life. To complete the look, I went for a color-block tote in red, white, and black.
Another look I’m a fan of is the knit sweater and jean skirt look. I actually didn’t have a denim skirt, so I put on a denim dress with a sweater on top of it. The sweater was a bit big and bulky, so I added a red belt to create more of a waistline. The red of the belt, of course, went perfectly with the red over-the-knee boots. I love the way this outfit was tied together by a regular black bag.
I love darker earth tones for fall. So for this next look, I took a solid-colored brown midi skirt and a green ribbed turtle neck. The trench vest I chose was also a solid color, as was my tan handbag. That’s where the snake-print boots come in. I love the way the pop of print looks against the solid colors of the rest of the outfit.
All ladies know that every closet needs a good LBD, but you’d be surprised how well it can work for colder months as well. In this next style, I put on a trench jacket, which is also an absolute staple for fall, and finished it off with my printed over-the-knee boots. All that was left to add was a small black purse, and my look was complete.
Rib knitted dresses just scream fall. So pairing them with over-the-knee boots is the perfect combination. For this look, I went with a black pair, which I think matches so elegantly with the dress. Lastly, I threw on a cross-body bag in burgundy, and I am in love with the way this outfit looks.
Another great option is denim and a knit sweater. As it is, that’s such a classic fall pairing, but throwing on a pair of over-the-knee boots on top of the jeans really takes the boots to the next level. I also feel like adding the boots instantly dresses up the look without having to do too much to it, especially when adding a cute black cross-shoulder bag like I did.
There you have it, guys! Six different looks to rock with your over-the-knee boots. I don’t know about you, but I am so excited to rock these looks this fall! Which of these outfits is your favorite? Let me know in the comments. I’d also love to know what your favorite over-the-knee boot outfits are, so take a picture, and show me those in the comments as well!
