1 Short, 3 Ways: How to Style the Solid Gold Button Shorts

Style 1: Graphic Tee

The first way how to style the  solid gold button shorts is by wearing a graphic tee. As stated in the first paragraph of this blog post I live in graphic tees. I felt this tee fit the look perfect because I am a mom, and it seems like during the summer your kid(s) always eat you out of a house and home (LOL). So, I need someone to help feed them.

Second, I knew I could dress this graphic tee up with these silver platform heels I got on sale at Ross. I felt they were the closest thing that I could get to that mimicked the  Prada metallic heels, and these were it. This look is great to wear to a concert, a bar, or wherever your mind is set to. A look, right?!

Style 2: Bright Colored Blazer

The second way to style the solid gold button shorts is by adding your favorite bright colored blazer. It may be extremely hot where you are but be sure the blazer is light weight if possible.

The blazer of choice was a thrifted yellow blazer that I owned in my closet. This blazer matched perfectly with the shorts because I felt like I was a sunflower. I wanted a casual look so these loafers from my local retail store matched perfectly. Added in my favorite  sunglasses and a look was made! This look is great to wear to brunch, a weekend business meeting, or a museum date. What do you think?

Style 3: Crop Top

The final way how to style the solid gold button shorts is wearing a crop top. I told y’all I like to show skin, but not so much my stomach because of mommy pouch but you only live once, and I am building self-confidence of my body. So, to all you moms out there… do not be afraid to show your problem areas!

I wanted to add some texture to this look and the black and white stripes was a perfect match. Black and white stripes are a neutral and can be paired with just about anything. Plus, it is a classic staple to have in your wardrobe. I paired the look with my favorite  sunglasses, a thrifted white purse, and my gold studded sandals that are a dupe for  Valentino Garavani. Who doesn’t love a good dupe!
