3 Basic Ways to Style Cycling Shorts

Blazer

The first look is to style them with a slim-fit blazer. You can either match the blazer with the shorts for a more monochrome look, or you could add a pop of color with a bright blazer. Adding a belt will elevate the look and cinch in the waist. Alternatively, you can keep the blazer open to reveal your top underneath. In the second look, the white top breaks up the red of the blazer which I think makes it look more flattering.

I’ve accessorized the outfits with sunglasses and a bag. You can wear these outfits heels to look more dressed up or chunky trainers for a more casual look. Both of these looks make me feel like a boss. I feel confident, determined, and ready for business.

Here is one last example of a blazer look. I’m wearing a casual loose fit blazer with the sleeves turned up and a logo-tee underneath. I’ve styled it with Converse sneakers to create a casual and chilled-out look. Great for hanging out with friends.

Jumper

Another look is to wear them with an oversized jumper. The loose fit of the jumper provides the perfect contrast to the tight-fitting shorts. I love the balloon sleeves on this jumper and the fact that it’s long gives me some coverage at the back. I’ve added a belt bag which is not only functional but it also acts as a statement piece in this look and adds a bit of edge. You can finish this look with heels or flats.

Oversized shirt

The third trendy look is to wear them with an oversized shirt. It's up to you how to wear it; you can either keep it untucked or tuck in one side of it. Again, you can pair it with chunky trainers to give it a more casual look or with heels or strappy sandals for something a bit more put together.
