I think we can agree that most of us have a basic maxi black skirt in our closet! But how often do you reach for it? There are SO many ways to style it, but let’s just focus on 3 for today! (This exact maxi skirt is from Amazon, and I’m wearing size small for reference).

Styled Look # 1️⃣:
For this first look, we are going with a casual vibe! I simply added a graphic tee and some basic white sneakers. By knotting the tee, you define your waist and don’t look sloppy. We want to be casual, but not sloppy!! You also can never go wrong with some basic white sneakers. These exact ones are from Walmart and under $15!

Styled Look # 2️⃣:
For this next look, we are going a bit more dressy. I paired that same black maxi with my favorite bodysuit from Amazon! Having the body suit on top really brings a seamless and classy look to this outfit. You could make this a little more office appropriate by adding a blazer with it!

Styled Look # 3️⃣:
This is easily my favorite look out of the three! I love using this same black maxi as a swimsuit coverup! I paired it with a nice one piece suit and it easily looks like a complete outfit! I could wear this out to dinner after a day at the beach, and still look out together! Adding my favorite beach hat from Amazon completes this look!
