In this lookbook, I’m going to show you how to style a plaid skirt.
The skirt I’m styling is a mini-skirt in an A-line style that features a mix of different shades of gray. Let’s jump in!
Next, we’re going to add some tan leather loafers with textured soles. You need a pair of these in your wardrobe!
Start off by pairing it with a nude sleeveless top. The light shade of the top creates a nice contrast next to the dark colors in the skirt.
An oversized blazer in the same shade as the top is going to be our outerwear option.
The long length of the blazer creates a nice juxtaposition with the high-waisted skirt.
And a taupe leather handle bag finishes off the look.
How to style a plaid skirt
What I love about this look is that it gives me preppy, private-school vibes. I could really see someone wearing this to a super fancy and expensive boarding school.
