More Than Just a Cover-up

As Summer is coming to an end, we are moving our wardrobes to more "cozy" seasonal pieces. But let's not discredit our summer finds, just yet!

If you invested in it, reuse it. I have always been a huge advocate of capsule wardrobes, and repurposing a piece for multiple uses.

This post is no exception. We love a good comeback, or "let's not put this away just yet" kind of item!

I have styled a swimsuit cover-up a few different ways, to show you a perfect example of how one item can completely transform your closet.

First using it as a cover-up. I love the flowy-ness of this one, and the buttons give you the option of an open or close style.

The low-cut top part is extremely flattering, and the flowy bottom gives it a Boho feel.

Next is the dress alone. Styled with a belt and double necklace accessories! I love added extras in when it seems to be a "plain" item. But let's not discredit the buttons, and ruffle sleeves. These details alone, give the dress a good "wear me alone" option.

Lastly is styling it casually. I am a sucker for casual looks. Pair it with a jean jacket, hat, and some transitional sandals, and you got it made! You can enough swap out the jacket for a cardigan for a more fall-like outfit.

Here is a little fun "get ready" video
