Prepping skin

1. Facial prep

After applying some sunscreen and a light amount of eye cream, go in with some serum to hydrate and plump the skin.

Applying foundation

2. Even out the canvas

Next, apply moisturizer to your hand. Then, add one pump of light coverage foundation, blend that into the moisturizer, then apply to your face.

Essentially, what you’re doing here is creating your own tinted moisturizer.

Adding concealer

Next, spot correct with a concealer and blend it out with stippling motions and a damp beauty blender.

Blending

When I'm doing these really natural looks, I also love going in with a cream bronzer.

Work it into the skin by stippling into the zones of the face that you would typically be contouring, like the hairline area of the forehead and the hollows of the cheek.

Filling in brows

3. Brows

Use a brow pen to sketch the individual hairs in the areas where you are missing them.

Then go in with a brow gel to create that fluffy, lifted look.

Applying lip gloss

4. Lips and blush

Apply a lip balm to your lips first and then apply the lipstick on top of the balm.

When you do this technique, you get a very sheer wash of berry color, which is so natural, beautiful, and youthful. Y

You're essentially transforming a red lip into a stain-looking effect, which so many people just love.

Adding lip color to cheeks

Whenever I do any kind of red on my lips, I also like to rub that same color on my fingers and blend it into my cheeks as a cream blush.

This helps to tie the whole look together and gives off a really natural looking flush.

Defining eyes

5. Defining the eyes

In order to softly contour the eyes, go in with a cream bronzer and a crease brush and use windshield wiper motions to create a bit of separation between the crease and the lid.

Curling lashes

Then curl your lashes and apply a volumizing and lengthening mascara.

Applying highlighter

6. Highlighter

To add more glow to the skin, go in with some highlighter and highlight your collarbones as well as your cheekbones.

Christmas makeup look

Here is the first look - it's super fresh, clean, and very youthful and doesn’t have an abundance of product.

But best of all, it literally took me less than 8 minutes to execute.

Christmas makeup look

I am dying, though, to show you this lip in full force. So I went back in with that same lipstick on clean, dry lips.

This is the final look with a statement lip. It is amazing how a red lip can completely elevate your style.
