Natural Spring & Summer Makeup Look for Older Women

Today, I’m going to show you how to create a fresh spring and summer makeup look for older women.
All the products I’m using are from the Look Fabulous Forever range of makeup, made specifically for mature skin and the coloring of older women. Here's how to create this simple and natural summer makeup look.
Tools and materials:
- Rose gold eyeshadow
- Charcoal eyeshadow
- Eyeshadow brush
- Eyeliner brush
- Mascara
- Highlighter
- Blush
- Blush brush
- A light shade of lipstick
1. Apply Eyeshadow
To begin, I used the Look Fabulous Forever brush #7 to apply a rose gold eyeshadow all over my eyelids and just above the socket line. This is a beautiful matte color, suited to all different skin tones.
2. Use eyeshadow as eyeliner
I used a charcoal-colored matte eyeshadow in place of eyeliner and applied it with the #8 wedge brush right along my upper lash line. This defines and frames my eyes and makes my lashes look thicker.
I also applied a little bit of the same charcoal color along my bottom lashes, very lightly, and only about halfway from the outer corner of my eye inward.
3. Apply Mascara
Next, I put on mascara, making sure to coat the lashes from the base to the tips. It’s up to you how many coats you want to use. I have very fair lashes, so I applied a bit of mascara to my bottom lashes as well.
4. Highlighter
I used a highlighter on all the areas I wanted to brighten and lift.
For me, this included my brow bone, along the tops of my cheekbones, down the center of my nose, the frown lines in the center of my forehead, right above the arch of my eyebrow, and just a tiny bit on my cupid’s bow.
I used my fingers to gently pat it and blend it in. This is a great way to add a touch of luminescence to your skin without looking too shiny.
5. Apply Blush
To bring a bit of color to my face, I applied blush on the apples of my cheeks. I used my finger to dab it on and pull the color upwards towards my temples in a teardrop shape.
6. Blend
I then used a large brush to blend the blush color, and soften the edges a bit.
7. Summery lipstick
To finish off the look, I used a light, summery lip color called Sunset Glow.
My DIY summer makeup look is complete!
Looking fabulous has no age limit, so I hope you found this summer makeup tutorial for older women helpful. Let me know what you think of this look in the comments.
