If you’ve been looking for ways on how to make a coffee sugar body scrub, look no further! This easy-to-make and delicious coffee sugar scrub recipe exfoliates your skin, leaving it radiant, refreshed, and glowing.

The vitamins in the oils in this scrub nourish your skin, so you look younger and healthier. You can safely use this on your body and face. Best of all, you can make this for yourself or give it as a gift for the holidays. Here’s how to make it.

Tools and materials:

  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons ground coffee
  • 100 ml sweet almond oil
  • 2 teaspoons vitamin E oil
  • Vanilla or other scented essential oil
  • Measuring spoon
  • Mixing spoon
  • Bowl
  • Storage container
Brown sugar

1. Mix the dry ingredients

Brown sugar and coffee are fantastic natural exfoliants that leave skin smooth and soft. Place 5 tablespoons of the brown sugar into the bowl.

Ground coffee

Then add the 3 tablespoons of ground coffee.

Mixing the dry ingredients together

Mix the dry ingredients together so that the coffee and the brown sugar are evenly dispersed.

Adding the the almond oil

2. Add the wet ingredients

Use sweet almond oil and not standard almond oil. Sweet almond oil has its own health benefits for the skin. It helps with anti-aging and encourages collagen production.

Start by adding 50 ml and go all the way up to 100 ml. Keep mixing the oil into the coffee sugar scrub until it feels pasty.

Adding vitamin E oil

Now add the 2 teaspoons of vitamin E oil. Vitamin E helps to hide blemishes and reduce the appearance of bruises and scars, including acne scars. It also gives the skin a really beautiful glow. It’s an important part of the scrub!

3. Add essential oils

Keep mixing the coffee sugar scrub with both oils to disperse them until it looks like compact wet sand. Mix in 3 drops of vanilla essential oil. The smell of the coffee and vanilla together is so delicious!

You could change it up with peppermint as well for a more "holiday" aroma if you're making the scrub as gifts.

4. Pack it away

Use the spoon to pack the coffee sugar scrub into jars to store it. This recipe makes enough for a 100 ml jar. I like to add a pretty label to the top.

To use the scrub, take a small amount in the hand and rub in small circles on wet skin. Use the scrub once a week to prevent premature aging. Finish up with creamy body butter to lock in moisture.
