Easy Customized Aprons
Father's Day is right around the corner and I love my latest DIY. We made these aprons for Father's Day and I love how they turned out. Not too long ago I tried ice dying on one of my tablecloths and loved it. I decided to use the same technique on these aprons and they turned out just as cool!
You can find these plain, cotton aprons at most craft stores.
Place the apron in a container and cover with ice.
You are going to use powder fabric dye for this project.
Sprinkle the dye over the ice and set aside.
I placed my aprons outside in the heat so they would dry faster. When the ice is completely melted, rinse the aprons in cold water. Be sure to wear gloves for this part otherwise you'll stain your skin.
Wash your apron according to the package directions. This is what my apron looked like after washing.
I embroidered names onto my aprons.
These aprons turned out so cool and these Grandpa's will definitely be grilling in style with these.
These aprons are perfect for wearing while working on household projects, grilling, crafting or gardening and make great gifts for anyone!

Great gift. Do you have to wash these separately?
All great questions! Where do we find the answer? Also, does it take the entire package of dye for one apron!
