How to Do a Quick & Easy Everyday Eyeshadow Look on Mature Eyes
Hey - who’s up for doing an eyeshadow look with me? In this tutorial, I’m going to share with you an easy everyday eyeshadow look using just four neutral shades from one handy little palette. This is super straightforward to do, and the final look is natural and gorgeous. Let’s get started.
I’m using a SEINT cream color palette but you can use any eyeshadows of your choice.
Tools and materials:
- Neutral eyeshadow palette
- Makeup brushes
I have four really fun shades in here that are just great neutral, everyday shades. Before I started, I applied a little bit of color corrector and concealer to my eyelids, and then I put on a little bit of brightener.
1. Neutral base
I’m going to grab my smudge brush and use the end that is a little bit flatter and apply the tan color in the bottom right corner of my palette. This will be my neutral base shade.
2. Darker crease
Then, I’m going to pick up some of the taupe shade, and I’m going to go right in my crease and almost along my brow bone just a bit above it just to add a little bit more depth and definition to that area.
This shade is really nice and soft, it’s not too dark, and it will blend in really pretty with the color that I’ve already applied.
Next, I’m going to soften and blend the two colors, but I don’t want to mix the two completely together and muddy them.
3. Outer corner
Now I’m going to pick up the reddish-brown color from my palette, and I’m going to apply that to the outer corner of my eye and just into the crease. I’m also just going to take a little bit of that and pull it underneath my lower lashes. Then I’m going to softly blend that in.
4. Shimmer
Then for a pop of shimmer and some brightness, I’m going to pick up my light shimmer shade, and I’m going to press that right in the center of my eye, towards the inner part, just to brighten that inner bit. I also like to put some just underneath my brow.
Everyday eyeshadow look tutorial
This is a great, everyday eyeshadow look using just four shades; three of them are matte, and one of them is a shimmer shade.
I love going for neutral colors because they really bring out my natural beauty, and I always find it helpful to have a neutral palette with me when I’m out and about. I hope you’ll give this eyeshadow tutorial a go!
