Help Pigmentation Issues Around Your Mouth With a Tomato
Do you have pigmentation around your mouth that you want to improve?
Check out this all-natural DIY to remove pigmentation and dark spots using a tomato and other natural ingredients!
Tools and materials:
- Bowl
- Measuring spoons
- Gram flour
- Paring knife and cutting board
- Tomato
- Turmeric
- Beetroot powder
- Lemon (optional)
- Makeup brush
1. Measure gram flour
Add 1 tablespoon of gram flour to a bowl.
2. Add tomato
Next, cut a medium tomato in half. Put 1 half aside.
Then add the tomato paste (the liquid and seeds) of half the tomato to the gram flour.
3. Add turmeric and beetroot powder
Add ¼ tablespoon turmeric to the bowl.
Be wary that turmeric can sometimes cause temporary staining to the skin! You might want to use a little less than this recipe recommends.
Next, add ½ tablespoon of beetroot powder.
4. Add lemon juice
Optional: add 3-4 drops of lemon juice to the bowl.
5. Mix
Mix well to combine the ingredients.
6. Apply, dry and remove
Using a makeup brush, apply this to the pigmented skin or your entire face.
Then let it dry about 80% of the way.
Use the other half of the tomato to rub all over the mask. Then rinse with water and pat dry.
For best results, use this DIY pigmentation mask 3 times a week. I also recommend using sunscreen daily to protect your skin.
