How to Curl Lashes & Use Eyelash Curlers For Older Women
Most makeup routines include a step for curling your eyelashes, but just how much do you know about eyelash curlers? Follow this tutorial to learn about the benefits of using an eyelash curler, especially for mature beauty, and then you won’t be tempted to skip this step!

- Mascara
I'm using products from Look Fabulous Forever, which is specially designed for older skin, but you can replicate the same techniques with your own preferred products.
1. Benefits of eyelash curlers
a) If you wear glasses
If you wear eyeglasses, curling your lashes helps to keep them away from the lenses of your glasses. Besides protecting both your eyelashes and your lenses, your eyelashes will also look better behind your glasses.
b) If you have short eyelashes
Curling short eyelashes makes them appear longer, and longer eyelashes are more attractive eyelashes.
c) Even if you already have nice eyelashes
Even if your eyelashes are a good length, using an eyelash curler will give them shape and improve the look of your mascara.
2. How to use an eyelash curler
Although I am wearing mascara while I demonstrate how to use the eyelash curler, that’s just so you can better see my eyelashes.
Normally, you would curl your eyelashes before applying mascara.
To begin using an eyelash curler, open the curler so it can grab your eyelashes on the top and bottom.
Trap as much of your eyelashes as you can between the top and bottom of the eyelash curler.
Squeeze the eyelash curler against your eyelashes for about 9 seconds.
Gently release the eyelash curler before pulling it away from your eye.
For an alternate way of curling your lashes, you can try putting the eyelash curler on your lashes, squeezing, then loosening the curler, gently pulling it slightly away from your eye, squeezing again, and repeating. With this technique, you are continually curling and re-curling your eyelashes.
