Method 1: Base style

1. Separate your bangs

Use a comb to separate your bangs from the rest of your hair.

2. Blow-dry your bangs

Wet your bangs. Attach the concentrator piece to your hairdryer.

Brush your bangs from side to side while drying, using a round brush.

Blow the air downward until your bangs are completely dry.

3. Style the long pieces

Take the long pieces of your curtain bangs to the sides. Put the round brush behind them and apply more heat with the hair dryer.

Method 1: Base style

Repeat with the long pieces on the other side.

4. Style the middle section

Collect about half of the middle, shorter pieces and brush them down to one side while drying them.

Method 1: Base style

Then grab the rest of those shorter pieces, even with some from the first half. Then brush and dry them to the other side.

Method 1: Base style

Without heat, brush under the middle section to smooth and add volume.

Method 1: Base style

This is the base style that I use for the other curtain bang styles.

You can leave your bangs like this, you can add some product and take the bangs to the side, or follow on for the other methods.

Method 2: Wavy, natural vibe

If you have straight hair, you can start at this point. If you have wavy hair, you should start with blow drying, as in the first method.

Your hair should be dry before beginning this second method.

1. Curl small sections with your flat iron

Pull back the rest of your hair in a claw clip. Then work with very small pieces to curl them inward on the flat iron.

Method 2: Wavy, natural vibe

Once curled, pull the end toward your ear until it cools off.

Method 2: Wavy, natural vibe

Continue until after the halfway point of your curtain bangs.

Method 2: Wavy, natural vibe

Then grab the last section and curl it to the other side.

2. Comb through

At this point your bangs should look a bit crazy. Tame them by running a comb through them, keeping fingers at the top to anchor them.

Method 2: Wavy, natural vibe

3. Curl the tips

Touch up by curling the ends of any longer pieces downward so that they aren’t sticking out.

Method 2: Wavy, natural vibe

This style is more relaxed and wavy. You can add product or even add more waves to the rest of your hair if you want.

Method 2: Wavy, natural vibe

It looks cute with the hair up as well:

Method 3: Basic with flat iron

This style is especially for people with wavy to curly hair.

1. Work with the long, outer sections

Never go straight downward with your flat iron because it will end up benign too straight.

Always give a slight bend, following your head shape as a guide.

Method 3: Basic with flat iron

Continue with the other long sections of bangs.

2. Work with the short, middle sections

Do the same motion with the short, middle section of hair, following a curve over your face, being careful not to burn your forehead.

Method 3: Basic with flat iron

3. Style with your fingers

Use your fingers to mold and style the hair to sit in the right place. You can add dry shampoo or texturizing product if you want.

Method 3: Basic with flat iron

The results are similar to the first method, just without a blow dryer.

Of course, if you have very curly hair, the results will be different.
