How to Use This Trendy New Hair Tool
I am so excited to show you guys this amazing hair hack. I’m going to show you how to use this trendy new hair tool that looks like a simple stick.
It’s actually not a new hair tool, but it’s trending right now. It’s a hair stick, also known as a hairpin or a hair bodkin. I’ll show you how to use it.
Tools and materials:
- Comb/brush
- Hair stick/hair bodkin/hairpin
1. Comb and gather
Comb your hair and untangle any knots.
Pull your hair back like you’re about to make a ponytail and hold it with one hand.
Take the hair stick with the other hand.
2. Fold it in
Hold the hair stick above the gathered hair, then flip the ends of the hair up, folding the hair over the hair stick.
3. Twist and secure
Twist the hair stick twice so the hair wraps around it.
Now, while holding the twist in place, push the smaller end of the hair stick into the hair at the top of the back of the head, sliding it down against the scalp and securing the twisted hair in place.
How to use this trendy new hair tool
Can you believe how simple that was? You don’t need any clips or hair elastics. A simple stick can secure an elegant twisted style that is both chic and casual all at once.
