DIY Pattern Jeans With Distress Archival Ink...Sweet and Sassy!

Have You Tried Pattern Jeans for Spring?? Yes, Please!
Here's a Simple DIY for Creating Patterned Jeans...
Filled with Hearts...Flowers...Antelopes??!!
It's Fun and Fast to Create with Stamps and Archival Ink.
Let's Go!
Racing Antelopes!
Step 1 - The Before: a faded pair of jeans...actually...full disclosure...jeans that I hope to be too big for me to wear by the end of Summer...ah, but that's another story(!)
Step 2: Find the Perfect Ink for Stamping.
Tim Holtz Distress® Mini Archival Ink pads are waterproof, acid-free dye inks featuring the classic Distress color palette in the same fade resistant formula used in Ranger Archival Ink. Archival Inks are permanent on many surfaces, providing long lasting detailed stamping results that won’t bleed when used with water-based inks, markers, acrylic paint, and watercolors.
Waterproof
Completely permanent
Works on non-porous surface...Jeans are perfect!

Step 4: Ink the Stamp.
Step 5: It's always good to try out the stamp first...I was surprised at the crisp, clean lines that I achieved with the Archival Ink. This stamp has very delicate lines and the results are beautiful.
Step 6: Ink the Stamp and Stamp...Select where to place the design on the jeans...Press down firmly on the Stamp. And Stamp!
The Ink Dries Very Quickly.
First Design done - on the back pocket.
Keep going...it's Your Design and Inspiration.
Change Up the Designs with different Stamps and Different Colors...Love the antelopes running up the jean legs.
Antelopes across the back...
And Hearts and Antelopes on the Front...
Step 7: Heat set on fabric...2 minutes to set the ink.
Cover the designs with a cloth. Iron (without steam) for 2 minutes.
New Life for an Old Pair of Jeans...
And So Fun to Wear!
