Have you ever broken a hair tie or misplaced it?! Did you know you could used jean scraps to make one? Let me show you this quick and easy jean hair tie! Ready?! Let’s do this!

Do you have leftover jean material from making jean shorts from your long jeans? Take the jean and scissors…that’s all you will need for this hair tie tutorial.

I cut off the very bottom hem and discarded it. The hemmed part of the jean is too stiff and it would not work all well for this hair tie tutorial. I cut a few extras to have in the house just in case I run across not being able to find my hair ties again.

This is all you need for one single ponytail. The material I used has spandex in the list of materials so it had good stretch and worked out perfectly!

Here you can see that I used the hair tie to do a single pony tail style. You could use it for any hairstyle. It might even work well as one of those wrapping bun styles. The possibilities are endless. I hope enjoyed this hair tie tutorial with me. I will see you all in my next post!
