Is it just me or has your phone been overheating during your summer days in the sun?! Mine has too many times🥵 Why not put your old jeans to good use and create a stylish phone pocket! Ready?! Let’s do this!

I have cutoff jeans that have made its way to my scrap fabric pile because holes started forming in the corners of the pockets. Now it’s time to put them to good use!

I started by cutting around the entire pocket keeping the back of the fabric intact…to form a pocket.

Here are both of the denim pockets fully intact and ready for my phone to snuggle it’s way in and stay cool and dry! (of course from kids splashing😆). Just looking at these pockets so many other ideas come to me no, but I’ll those for more tutorials 😄

I think you will get so many questions and compliments about this piece. I love how the denim is an extra layer of protection! You can get creative and stencil some patterns on it with paint or even do some bleach tie dye. The possibilities are endless! I hope you enjoyed this quick craft to better protect your cell phone from the elements. Follow me on my other social pages! See you time😄

Hi April, nope that’s it! It’s like putting your phone in your back pocket, but you have the second pocket to go over the top of the phone for extra protection. It’s a quick fix, not too fancy😄

So you just insert the 2nd pocket inside the first one?
