The Black White Edit
We sometimes underrate the blandest of colors. In reality, I think we need to uplift them. Basics of basics are always the building blocks of style and fashion. Much like amoebas to life. That was dramatic, but you catch my drift! I find it only fitting that we discuss the colors we rarely define as statements for my first post of 2024.
My one prediction is that people are going to keep diving into basics and keeping it 100% simple this year with minimal effort and maximum comfort.
Sometimes it can be as easy as an athleisure look. A simple black leggings and a pullover for a day of errands will suffice for the most basic of looks. You can even add a pop of color like I did in this look.
I am all about the casual looks. However, we can't all live in leggings, no matter how much we want to. I chose black denim because I feel like black denim is a natural go-to during the cooler months. A simple oversized sweater and even some black-white sneakers fit the bill.
Never underestimate the power of a monochromatic look. You can do this with either all-black or all-white. In this case, this base is just perfection. Including the black belt with the silver buckle!
