Three Faux Leather Leggings That Aren’t Spanx

You’ve likely seen the infamous faux leather leggings floating around the internet. They’re popular season after season, but I have yet to convince myself to splurge on them (even when they’re on sale). Luckily, I’ve found other retailers that offer dupes that are just as good and definitely provide the same look.

This pair from Amazon is the closest to the “real deal.” The sheen and the fit -- with all the suck-you-in power -- are almost identical to the Spanx leggings, for a fraction of the price. They are often on sale, making them under $40.

The Walmart pair is my second favorite dupe. This is a new find, but I can already tell the $14 is worth every penny. Again, they have a very similar sheen. The only difference is there is a good bit of stretch, so they don’t provide as much compression. I’d recommend sizing down if that’s what you’re looking for.

And last, but really not least, is the Target version. They have brought these back for several years in a row, so you know they’re good. The only reason I rank them last is because the sheen isn’t as comparable to the Spanx pair. I still love the look of this Target dupe, and it’s worth it for the savings, but these are more matte. They’re also thinner and provide the least amount of compression. But for under $20, it’s a great alternative!

Really, you can’t go wrong with any of these pairs of faux leather leggings. I will forever recommend these over the $80+ brand name version.
