8 Viral & Trending Makeup Hacks You Need to Try
I’m going to be testing out some of the craziest viral makeup hacks! I've seen these hacks on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube, so I wanted to try them all out together.

1. Eyebrow makeup hack
This TikTok makeup hack is all about getting perfectly shaped eyebrows. Start by taking an eyeshadow and press that all over your brows.
You do not need to be neat because the next step is where you’ll quickly create some awesome crisp lines.
Soak a q-tip in micellar water and clean up the lines to get your desired shape.
My brows look pretty natural! If you have a hard time getting your brows even, you should try this makeup hack!
2. Foundation makeup hack
Ok, this spoon makeup hack is all over social media and I need to try it myself! Basically, apply foundation to your face, as shown.
Then, blend it out with the backside of a clean spoon! It feels nice since the spoon is cold.
Since the spoon doesn't absorb the product, you can wipe the excess on your forehead. Unfortunately, the spoon does not help with the blending, and I think this makeup hack is a big fail! My beauty blender did a better job at this.
3. Concealer makeup hack
The next hack is to apply concealer around your eyes in the shape of glasses.
Blend it out using your makeup sponge.
I must say, this eye makeup hack definitely works! Applying a highlighter on your eyelids also makes sense as it acts as a primer.
Also, my whole eye area is super highlighted and gives me a spotlight effect.
4. Eyeliner makeup hack
The next TikTok hack is super weird! Take a tape and place it across your nose, with the ends going across your eye’s outer corners. Yes, I look like a pig right now!
Next, place some tape on top of your eyelids so that the corners have a winged shape.
Apply black eyeshadow across the corner of your eyelids and all the way in.
Then, remove the tape gently and slowly.
I messed mine up a little, but as far as the wing goes, it looks pretty damn good! However, I think this eye makeup hack is not worth the hard work and effort.
5. Eyeshadow makeup hack
This makeup hack is said to give a beautiful gradient eyeshadow look. Apply various colored eyeshadows across your lid, starting from lightest to darkest. You can do a small stripe of each one.
Then, start blending the colors from the inner corner out.
Go over and contour the eye area.
I really liked how this eye makeup hack turned out; it really gives off a beautiful gradient finish. You do need to practice a few times and play around with the placements of the eyeshadows.
6. Mascara makeup hack
For this hack, simply curl your lashes and apply mascara on the tip of your lashes with the wand's tip.
Then, go ahead and apply mascara with a wiggle motion.
It looks super voluminous, and that I have thick lashes! The right side is how I’d normally do my mascara. Can you see the difference?
7. Blush makeup hack
If you want a cream-based blush with a specific tone, you can mix your own with this trendy TikTok makeup hack.
All you need to do is add some concealer to the back of your hand with lipstick. Then, mix them together.
Apply this to the apples of your cheeks.
Blend it out with your beauty blender.
I really love this makeup hack, it works well. It’s pretty blendable since it’s mixed in with concealer. It’s so pretty and adds a touch of sheen to my cheeks. What do you guys think?
8. Lip makeup hack
If you want a full lip effect, then you have to try this out. Place your lips together and outline your lips.
Now, fill in your lips with the same lip pencil.
It looks really full and may even come across as lip fillers. This hack is too exaggerated for my liking, but the shape looks good and gives off a pouty vibe. You can adjust this hack by not overdrawing all the way up.
